THE COUNTY’s senior coroner Geraint Williams will stand down this summer after 12 years of service.

Mr Williams will retire on July 1 after more than a decade presiding over inquests in the county.

David Reid, a barrister and the current assistant Coroner for Worcestershire and Hampshire, will take up the role after approval from the Chief Coroner and the Lord Chancellor.
