YOUNGSTERS from Victoria’s School of Dance in Rednal have successfully earned their certificates in the ‘Baby Ballet’ and ‘Modern Class for Under Fives’ sections, writes Bethany Lewis.
Over the last six weeks the members have had to work towards stickers to fill up their certificates.
They had to demonstrate a number of skills, including good arm movements, pointed toes, good balance and concentration, as well as good kicks and lovely smiles.
The group, run by Victoria Price, is based at St Stephen’s Church and is affiliated with the Associated Board of Dance.
The class uses equipment and ribbons to engage the students and introduce them to the foundations of ballet and modern dance.
