FIREFIGHTERS have extinguished a car fire on the M5 between Junction 5 (Droitwich) and Junction 4a (Bromsgrove).
The incident happened on the northbound carriageway at 9am this morning.
Fire crews from Bromsgrove and Droitwich attended and battled the blaze with water jets.
Officers from Highways England were also set to the scene.
The first two lanes of the motorway were closed while the incident was dealt with but have since re-opened.
