A WOMAN has died after a crash on the A38 near Lydiate Ash last night.
The incident happened around 8pm when a silver BMW X5 hit a tree on the Birmingham Road, going towards Rubery.
The female driver of the vehicle was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
Road closures were put in place whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
Investigating officers from West Mercia Police now want anyone who witnessed the crash or anyone who has any information to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
