THIEVES tried to steal a generator from some riding stables in Bromsgrove.
It happened in land off Ashwood Lane, Stoke Prior, between 5.30pm on Thursday and 7.30am on Friday.
They slid the bolt and bent a sheet of metal in a bid to get into the stables.
The generator was left by the barbed wire fence.
