FAMILIES wanting a fun-filled day out can go along to Lizzie’s Farm between 10am and 4pm on Sunday, June 10, writes Layla Chiha.
The event is part of the national ‘Open Farm Sunday’ where both adults and children will get to meet lots of their companionable animals and learn more about life on the farm from Farmer John.
Admission is free but donations would be welcomed for McMillan Cancer Support.
Refreshments, including a barbecue serving home-grown Highland burgers and succulent pork hot-dogs, will also be available.
Dogs need to be left at home to prevent upsetting the other animals on the farm.
Lizzie said: “Open Farm Sunday is a lovely family day out.
“We need the support of the public if Britain is going to carry on farming in today’s market.”
This event is a great way to show people how farmers look after the countryside and the animals that depend upon it.
It will take place at Lizzie’s Farm, Chadwich Manor Farm, Chadwich, Bromsgrove.
