A PRODUCTION featuring two plays based on the lifes and loves of two British comedy legends Sid James and Joan Sims is coming to Bromsgrove’s Artrix next Friday, April 20.
Funny Faces by Next Page Productions starts at 7.30pm in the venue’s Studio.
SIMply Joan sees Joan reflecting on her professional work and private heartache – sometimes hilariously, often touchingly, as the audience witnesses her determination to ‘Carry On’.
In Wot Sid Did, Sid James is in his dressing room in the hour before his last performance. He is in a pensive mood as he looks back on his career, his life and his lost love Barbara Windsor. This is a funny and poignant play about one of Britain’s most loved comic actors.
Tickets for the show, which are £12 (£10 for over 60s and students), are available from artrix.co.uk or by calling 01527 577330.
