THE NEXT band to take centre stage at Bromsgrove Folk Club will be The Harvesters on Thursday, February 22.
The band promises the best in back-porch Americana, old time and good time songs and tunes, coupled with dynamic dancing.
The Harvesters bring the authentic atmosphere of the Appalachian Mountains and the sounds of the Southern United States, along with a plethora of instruments including banjos and slide guitars, dobros and bouzoukis, guitars and bowed dulcimer.
Support will be a little different to the usual Fairfield when a pair of old-timers with a wealth of experience but who really should know better take to the stage.
Tickets for the event at Catshill Social Club is £7 for members, £3.50 under 25s and £9.00 non-members who are always welcome.
