PETS AT Home is holding a workshop to teach children how to care for pets responsibly.
Youngsters will be taught how to care for the animals in the winter months, such as how to prepare smaller animals for hibernation.
The scheme will run as part of the My Pet Pals Activity Club.
Store manager Alan Phillips wants as many children as possible to go along to the free session even if they do not have their own animals.
The workshop will be available from October 16 and 27.
