THERE will be a magical experience to be had at Bromsgrove’s Artrix tomorrow (Saturday) when Alexei Ratmansky’s Cinderella by the Australian Ballet will be screened live.
The rags to riches show, part of the School Drive venue’s Fairy Tale Series, starts at 1pm and the new-look cafe will be open beforehand, serving a selection of sandwiches, cakes and jacket potatoes.
The story centres around Cinderella who, usually spends her life working to support her stepmother, dreams of going to the ball and meeting the handsome prince.
Her evil sisters do everything in their power to prevent her from attending but, with the help of the Fairy Godmother, all her dreams are coming true – that is until midnight when she has to flee the ball before her riches return to rags.
Tickets to this witty, vibrant, glamorous and romantic show are £15 (£13 under 16s and students).
