Historic Bromsgrove church to play host to Occasional Wind Ensemble, coffee and cake

A SHORT classical music concert suitable for all the family will take place at Bromsgrove’s historic St John’s Church on Saturday (January 16).

The event will see some modern arrangements of favourite tunes by local musician Robert Porter performed at the event which starts at 10.30am.

Robert’s arrangements are for clarinets and saxophones and also feature lush harmonies and the occasional humorous twist.

The ‘Occasional Wind Ensemble’ will be present the programme of some of pieces, including ‘Misty’ and ‘Star of County Down’ and there will also be coffee and cake afterwards.

Admission is free to the latest ‘Coffee and Cake Concert’ but donations are appreciated.
