A MAN in his 40s was injured in a three-car crash which happened on the M42 this morning.
It occurred on the northbound carriageway between Junction 2 (Hopwood) and Junction 3 (Birmingham South) just before 9am this morning (Thursday).
The man was complaining of back and chest pains, was checked over, treated and discharged at the scene.
All lanes on the motorway have now reopened.
