TWO MEN have been arrested this afternoon after police responded to reports of disorder in Weoley Castle, Birmingham, shortly after 12pm.
A car suspected of being involved was stopped. A large quantity of suspected Class A and B drugs were recovered.
The men, aged 23 and 21, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, and possession with intent to supply drugs. Both remain in custody.
The Standard received reports of a large police presence on Shenley Lane, near Shenley Court School.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “During our response to this incident, we liaised closely with a local school and thank staff, pupils, and parents for their patience and support.”
