On the latest episode of the Irish Angle, journalist Johnny Ward and jockey coach Paddy Flood joined Emma Nagle to discuss all the hot topics in horse racing.
The trio pinpointed three horses for your portfolio that it may pay to follow for the months ahead, including a Royal Ascot potential, for trainer Aidan O’Brien.
With an exciting season ahead the William Hill sign up offer allows you to get a host of free bets to spend on all the racing action.

I’m going to stick with the Koktail Divin. I know the horse and he’s still only a shell of a horse if you look at him in the flesh, he’s a big unit.
There’s not a whole lot of meat on him. And I’d say, with a bit of grass in his belly next year, that he could be a really, really top horse for Henry de Bromhead.

I’ll give Killashee Warrior. I tipped her up in the Priory Belle Stakes behind True Love. She was unplaced, but I thought she ran in a very nice race and it was her first run back.
Eddie and Patrick Harty have some quite nice horses at the moment. I thought she gave the impression that she’d appreciate stepping up in trip.
She just wasn’t quite able to go the pace after travelling quite well in the straight, but I think they’re going to have plenty of fun with her.
She’ll be one to follow stepping up in trip going forward.

I’ll give one who was beaten in a two-year-old maiden in Dundalk on Friday – Litmus Test for Paddy Twomey and Billy Lee.
He was second to New Yorker of Aidan O’Brien’s, who looked like a big, strong No Nay Never.
Aidan said he’ll be an Ascot two-year-old, but Litmus Test was first time out there. I like the way he shaped, he looked a bit green maybe, but he came home very, very well.
He was flying home. I’d say back for another maiden next time, he’ll be fairly hard to beat whenever we see him next.
