Passengers urged to check trains as West Midlands Railway introduces timetable changes

Bromsgrove Editorial 17th May, 2026 Updated: 17th May, 2026   0

WEST Midlands Railway (WMR) is reminded passengers that timetables have changed ahead of their daily commute when the working week starts tomorrow.

From today (Sunday, May 17), departure times and frequencies on some routes will change as part of a bi-annual national timetable update.

Additional early morning services are set to be introduced, including on the popular Cross City Line.

Customer Experience Director, Jonny Wiseman, said: “I am pleased that we have been able to add new services from this timetable change, giving customers more options for when they travel.

“All our new timetables are now in journey planners, and whilst most of our changes are relatively minor,

“I’d encourage passengers to check their travel times in case they are different to what they’re used to.”
