HUNDREDS of properties across Bromsgrove, Rubery and Droitwich are still without power after Storm Claudia lashed the county.

A total of 191 homes in Barnt Green, Blackwell, Catshill, Lickey End and on the Birmingham Road are without electricity. Engineers are on the scene and power should be restored by 8pm.  Those houses are in the B45, B60 and B61 postcodes.

There are 65 homes in Stoke Heath without power – the supplies there are due to be restored by 9.30pm.

And 31 homes in Bournheath are also without electricity. That should be back on by midnight.

Earlier today

More than 820 homes in Wychbold and Upton Warren were without power – that number is now down to 17.

In Bromsgrove, 97 properties in the B60 postcode were without power. Engineers have now restored the electricity supply there.

In the B61 postcode – also Bromsgrove – there were 17 properties without power. Electricity supplies were restored by 3pm.

And in Rubery – in the B45 postcode – 107 homes were without electricity. Engineers returned the supply by 3pm.
