Hanbury Road in Stoke Prior, near The Navigation, has been shut beneath the railway bridge as a safety measure.
Despite Bromsgrove being outside the Met Office’s yellow warning area, heavy rain has battered the district for most of the day.
Drivers going through Stoke Prior are urged to find alternative routes.
