DYLAN Allen-Hadley scored his second goal in three games as Alvechurch drew 1-1 with struggling Berkhamsted to stretch their unbeaten run to three matches.

Allen-Hadley broke the deadlock five minutes before half time only for Thomas Newman to draw the visitors level in the second period at Lye Meadow.

And the result means Alvechurch sit 16th in the Southern League Premier Central table, 10 points clear of the relegation zone.

Church took the lead on 40 minutes when Allen-Hadly pounced on a loose pass before coolly sliding the ball past Berkhamsted goalkeeper Jamie Head from just inside the penalty area.

However, Berkhamsted equalised on 67 minutes as Newman finished at the back post after Church failed to properly clear their lines.

Alvechurch are next in action at home to Halesowen Town on Tuesday, February 6 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Lye Meadow.
