THE TENTH anniversary of Trident Reach at Deelands Hall in Rubery will be celebrated on Saturday, September 2, with a family fun day.
The event will take place between 12pm and 4pm and feature a variety of activities, including a disco, children’s entertainment, bouncy castle, football sessions, keep fit, free fish and chips, a free buffet, ice cream and a Slush Puppy machine.
The fun day will be officially opened by Coun Adrian Delaney, who represents the area on Birmingham City Council, at 12pm.
And there will be visits from firefighters from Northfield, Bournville Lane Police and St John Ambulance, along with stone painting in the community garden, local groups promoting services, a tombola and a raffle.
Trident Reach is working in collaboration with anti-litter campaign group The Rubery Wombles, who are officially opening their community garden behind the call.
Football activities will also be held on the MUGA by Callowbrook Swifts FC which will also be on the lookout for new players.
More than 500 people are expected to attend and everyone is welcome.
