    EVENTS


    Avoncroft Museum, Bromsgrove, is turning into a village with a traditional Country Flower and Produce Show on Sunday (August 24) and Monday (August 25). Normal admission prices apply. Members go free. Meet Patricia Gallimore and hear her talk about her life in the world's longest running soap opera - The Archers at 2.30pm. Pre-booked tickets available by ringing 01527 831363.


    A summer of fun activities for children is taking place at Hartlebury Castle throughout August between 10.30am and 4.30pm. Weekdays only. Between tomorrow (Saturday) and Monday (August 25), there will also be 'Teddy Time' at the Castle. For more information call 01299 250416.

    CLUBS AND GATHERINGS


    Barnt Green Sailing Club, Upper Bittell Reservoir, presents Sailboards on Sunday (August 24) - three races starting at 11am and two afternoon class dinghy races with 1st gun at 2.24pm. The late pursuit series will be on Wednesday (August 27) for all club classes with 1st gun at 6.54pm.


    There is junior training for novice and intermediate sailors at Barnt Green Sailing Club, Upper Bittell Reservoir, on Monday (August 25), Tuesday (August 26) and Wednesday (August 27) at 10am. Pre-registration is required.

    New girl group the City Girls, featuring Bromsgrovian Sheena Rowe, will be doing signings to promote the release of their new single, OMG. at Net Adventure, 68 Dalton Street, Birmingham on Monday (August 25) from 11am.
