Sporting set for biggest test yet

BROMSGROVE Sporting’s quest to be crowned champions this season will receive an almighty boost if they topple league leaders Coventry United today (Saturday).

The Rouslers are currently ten points behind the Coventry side who have lost just once since being promoted to Midland Football League Division One.

However, with two games in hand, manager Paul Smith will be confident his side can stun the home side and secure a victory which would reignite their title hopes.

Sporting will also arrive at Sphinx Drive in buoyant mood following a 5-0 thrashing of Inkberrow in the Smedley Crooke Memorial Charity Cup and a 3-1 win over Pelsall Villa in the league.
