SCC Redolence reach BSA Cup semi-finals

SCC Redolence reached the semi-finals of the BSA Cup after defeating Beoley Village 3-1 in the last eight on Sunday.

Jordan Price, Tim Lees and Luke Bryan were on the mark for SCC, as was Olivier Derikoye for Beoley.

Redditch Cross confirmed their place in the quarter-finals by beating AFC Lions 6-1 thanks to goals from James Rossiter (2), Callum Towler, Corey Chambers, Sean Bailey and Luke Taylor-Jones. Edd Sowah netted for Lions.

SO Goose Greenlands are also into the last eight thanks to a 5-3 victory over Studley Swan. Elliot Weston netted a hat-trick and Jack Darby a brace for the victors, with Craig Robinson, Shane Hancock and Ibdy Akolak on target for Swan.




In the Redditch & South Warwickshire Combination League Premier Division 33 goals were scored in four games.

Redditch Town beat Shakespeare Studley 4-3 thanks to doubles from Sargent and Adams. Benton, Kendell and Joesbury scored for the Shakespeare.


Rampant Austin Ex-Apprentices were 19-2 winners against VKL United as Andy Nicol (7) and Craig Spink (6) struck 13 times between them. Stephen Thorn (3), Richard Deeming (2) and Colin Jones also scored for Austin, as did Sam Osgood and Stephen Spencer for VKL.

Ryan Butler and James Moore were the respective scorers for New Woodland Cottage and CBH Fasteners in a 1-1 draw, whilst Lodge Park secured their first win of the season as they defeated South Redditch 3-0.
