Standard reporter Craig Gibbons brings you live action of Sporting’s Midland League Division One clash against Coventry Copsewood.

The last meeting between the two sides came on December 19 when the Rouslers secured a comfortable 4-1 victory. Can Paul Smith’s side do the double over their opponents to maintain their push for promotion?

    FULL-TIME! Sporting win 5-2 here at the Victoria Ground. Despite going 1-0 down in the first half, the sending off for Copsewood in the second 45 proved crucial as Sporting ran riot to net five wonderful goals. Copsewood added a consolation at the end but it was the only positive for them on a poor afternoon.     Another chance goes a begging for Kyle Turner to put Sporting 6-1 up. He's clean through once again but he fires wide.

    Sporting's Kyle Turner had two chances to add the sixth but keeper Scott Dutton pulls off two amazing saves. The first coming when Turner walked into the box but Dutton blocked well before saving at the back post from Turner's header. Dutton was involved again seconds later when Luke Dugmore's swerving effort from distance goes into the grateful hands of the keeper.

    CHANCE! How has Reece Hewitt not made it 6-1? He dances his way through the defence, rounds the keeper but runs the ball out of play - frustrating to say the least

    Entering the final 15 minutes here and Sporting are well in control as Kyle Turner breaks free from his man but slips at the vital moment, allowing Copsewood to clear.

    Reece Hewitt slices his way through the Copsewood defence, rounds the keeper but can't cut the ball back, however, the clearance falls to the feet of Luke Dugmore who unleashes a rasping volley that goes just over.

    TIBBETTS AGAIN!! Will gets his fourth goal of the game after meeting Liam Spink's cross from the right before applying a deft touch to score. Following the goal, Sean Brain makes way for Kyle Turner.

    Will Tibbetts completes his hat-trick from the penalty spot. Sean Brain was tumbled in the area and to be fair, it was quite a soft decision by the ref but the fans and players won't care, it's 4-1!

    Absolutely cracking comeback from Sporting but you got to feel for Copsewood. Being a man down when Sporting are playing quality football is a tough test for any side, regardless of league position.
