A CENTURY from Matthew Lamb steered Barnt Green to an impressive victory at Walmley in the Birmingham League Premier Division.
Lamb hit ten fours and five sixes before he was bowled by Shozair Ali for 105 at the John Findlay Memorial Ground.
Tom Brown chipped in with an unbeaten 52 as Walmley found themselves needing 310 to win.
But they struggled to get going as Green bowled smartly, with
Joyshua Poysden dismissing openers Michael Waugh (17) and Jamie Harrison (41).
James Ayres, Kasir Shah and Ali all got into the 20s before they were removed by Brown who finished with figures of 46-3.
Darrel Williams and Andrew Sutton also picked up two wickets as Green won by 85 runs.
