A GROUP of promising Bromsgrove gymnasts became ‘legends’ when they took part in the National British Gymnastics Gymfusion.
The event at Bedworth Civic Hall gave youngsters at Bromsgrove Gymnastics Club a theme which they had to use in their displays. This year was ‘legends’ so the club’s coaching team went with the legendary moment of the London 2012 Olympic Games moving to Rio 2016.
The elite gymnasts who attend the Bromsgrove club practised for five weeks to get their routine together.
Hannah Walker, gymfusion co-ordinator at the club, said: “I’ve had the pleasure once again to choreograph a routine for these inspiring gymnasts. They have all worked so hard and it definitely paid off.”
Andrea Paice, head coach and manager of Bromsgrove Gymnastics Club, said: “I am truly honoured to have such a wonderful team of coaches and gymnasts.
“The legendary moment we chose worked out brilliantly, the performance from the gymnasts was very powerful and enjoyed by all.”
