ROB Gandley demonstrated he was not a one hit wonder as he was on song once again at Alvechurch Fisheries.

After his debut victory last week, plenty was expected of Gandley on Saturday and he responded superbly.

The angler netted 114lbs 15oz after adopting the same tactics of worm and caster, rotating two swims at 12 mts and 6 mts. Gandley (peg 28) boosted his weight with a number of big carp up to 12lbs and a fantastic weight of barbel, ide and chub.

Warren Beach (peg 18) was his closest challenge with 99lbs 7oz as he started out in front over two lines with worm and caster before switching down both margins with long pole and pellet.

Another angler making his debut at the fishery was Richard Knowles (peg 7) who returned with 66lbs 8oz and sealed third place.

Rob Hodges (peg 11) fished long pole up to the rushes with pellet over of swims to weigh 55lbs 7oz.

Elsewhere, Danny Tresigne (peg 35) got 45lbs 7oz, while Ron Taylor (peg 36) came home with 42lbs 7oz.
