BROMSGROVE triathlete Sam Boswell returned to racing at the Hereford Duathlon following a six month break.
The duathlon consisted of a 4.6-mile run, a 17-mile bike ride and a final 2.2-mile run.
In the dry and windy conditions, Sam – who is sponsored by Elliot Nash Limited – had a pleasing return to racing after finishing as first female.
Sam said: “I am thrilled to win but I am equally glad just to be back racing.
“I hope that starting the season with a win is a positive sign for another good season.”
