BROMSGROVE School’s rugby team are one step closer to playing at Twickenham once again after progressing to the NatWest Schools Under-18 Cup semi-finals.
Bromsgrove, who beat Dulwich in last season’s final at Twickenham, will face Whitgift School from Croydon in the semis after claiming a 31-13 victory over RGS High Wycombe in the last eight on Wednesday (February 10).
The two sides will meet for their semi-final clash at Allianz Park on Saturday, February 27.
However, Bromsgrove’s hopes of having two sides play at Twickenham on Finals Day next month were dashed as their under-15s went out of their NatWest Schools Cup competition in dramatic fashion.
Bromsgrove drew their game 12-12 at home to Warwick but it was the visitors who progressed to the semi-finals on the away team rule.
