BROMSGROVE Ladies A took maximum points in their Herefordshire & Worcestershire Division One fixture against Madley A after claiming a 6-0 victory.
Hoping to build upon their opening victory, Bromsgrove piled on the pressure from the start and the first round of matches saw Bromsgrove take a 3-0 lead without dropping a set.
The second round saw the same again as Bromsgrove took all the matches to claim a comprehensive 6-0 victory.
Imogen Sinclair with Rachel Mack were in outstanding form, beating their opposite first pair 6-2, 6-1 before trouncing the Madley second pair 6-0, 6-0.
Meg Jones with Jilly Witcomb had a slightly tougher match at third pair but managed to come away with two victories.
Captain Sally Franks teamed up with Tona Manning as second pair and Madley’s first and second pairs in straight forward two-set victories.
Franks said: “Getting maximum points to follow up from our opening victory of the campaign is great.
“We have a strong squad and are looking to improve on our runners up spot in the winter competition.
“The whole team played well and showed our fighting spirit when we needed it.”
