RUBERY FC are champions of the Rose Bowl after romping to a 5-0 victory over fellow Division Three side Callowbrook Swifts Green.

In front of a crowd of 240 at Bromsgrove Sporting’s Victoria Ground, a hat-trick from Paddy Behan and double from Brogan Halpin secured the win for Rubery.

VBG Fairfield booked their place in the final of the Worcester Nursing Junior Cup with a 2-0 victory over Worcester Raiders thanks to goals from Pete Jenvey and Daniel Wilkes.

Northfield Athletic eased into the second round of the WA Harris Cup following a more than comfortable 7-0 win over WCT Youth Raiders.




Jason Cowley and Joshua Moore netted hat-tricks with Daniel Gibbs completing the scoring.

Sporting Club Redditch progressed into the third round of the WA Harris Cup with a 3-1 victory over Conway Albion thanks to two goals from Ryan Field and one from Daniel Sill.


The other cup game came between Meadow park and Rubery Juniors in the semi-finals of the Centenary Cup with Park prevailing in an 8-0 demolition.

In the Bromsgrove & District Premier Division, second place Alcester Town maintained their title charge with an 8-0 victory.

Ellis Kalach bagged a hat-trick, Dean Hay netted twice, Jamie Gifford and Jake Donnelly bagged one apiece along with an own-goal rounding off the scoring.

Basement club The Grove are still awaiting for their first points of the season after slumping to a 2-0 defeat to Belbroughton Athletic.

Division One leaders Bartley Green Illey Sunday cemented their position at the top with a 3-2 victory over Stoke Sporting.

Ben Johnson and Peter Warman got on the scoresheet for Sporting.

Chaddesley Corbett remain one point behind the league leaders after claiming a 3-1 victory over GLA.

Meanwhile, Wychbold RBL enjoyed a 3-1 win over Sporting Rednal thanks to goals from Mitchell Yardley, Colin Rudge and Reece Maycroft.

Rednal Social Club remain top of Division Two after beating Chaps United 4-0 courtesy of goals from Ben Markall, Connor Wilson, Michael Price and Kurt Spence.

Jason Gibbons starred in Awkies Allstars game against basement club Bridgfield as his five goals helped Allstars on their way to a 7-1 victory.

Joshua Clarke and Aaron Tullett completed Allstars’ scoring.

Elsewhere, LPR secured an 8-2 victory away at Bromsgrove Brentnal.

In Division Three, second place Chaddesley Corbett Reserves were narrowly beaten 1-0 by third place Stoke Sporting Reserves.

Bromsgrove Corinthians enjoyed a 4-2 win at Stoke Prior thanks to a brace from Alex Beck and singles from Tom Mason and Adam Fry.

FC Bromsgrove won by a similar scoreline against bottom side Laburnum courtesy of a Martin Bonar double and strikes from Jamie Dorgan and Will Rowland.
