FIFTEEN-GOAL thriller as Rednal Social Club progress in the WA Harris Cup following 9-6 victory over Hizza United.

Four goals from the club’s leading scorer Ben Markall, braces from Kyle Morrison and Connor Wilson and an effort from Jack Cheshire ensured Rednal claimed an impressive victory.

Ashley Verity netted twice for United, with Kyle Whiston, Aaron Clayton, Ben Ford and Josh Bowen completing their scoring.

Bartley Green Sunday progressed into the next round of the Kidderminster Hospital Junior Cup as a Connor Collins double helped them on their way to a 4-2 victory over Oak Tree Sporting.




Nick Groves and Dominic Strevens completed Bartley’s scoring, while Mark Bell and Daniel Fogarty scored for Oak Tree.

Rubery booked their place in the semi-finals of the Rose Bowl with a more than comfortable 7-0 victory AFC Millfields courtesy of a Brogan Halpin hat-trick, Elliot Hartley double and singles from Mitch Mansfield and Ryan Smith.


Callowbrook Green will join Rubery in the semi-finals as they received a home walkover after their opponents FC Bromsgrove were unable to raise a squad.

Meadow Park will meet Rubery Sunday Juniors in the semi-finals of the Centenary Cup after romping to a 9-1 victory away at Woodgate Valley.

Nick Wilson netted Valley’s only goal of the game.

Awkies Allstarts will meet Chaps United or Hizza United in the semis after they edged past Sporting Club Redditch 5-3 thanks to a hat-trick from Jason Gibbons and goals from Chris McGrory and Christopher Fox.

In the Bromsgrove & District League Premier Division, Lickey End Social collected their first three points of the season after securing a 3-1 victory away at basement side The Grove.

WCT Youth Raiders moved up to fourth as they secured a 3-0 victory away at Belbroughton Athletic courtesy of a Richard Smith double and strike from Matt Andrews.

In Division One, AFC Northfield are yet to claim a league win this season after they were narrowly defeated by Wychbold RBL.

Julian Triana and leading scorer Ciaran Sheehan got on the scoresheet for Wychbold; Michael Chaffatt for Northfield.

Meanwhile, in an entertaining six-goal thriller at the King George Playing Fields, Spa Athletic and Bromsgrove United shared the spoils in a 3-3 draw.

The solitary game in Division Two came down at third-place LPR who ran out 4-2 victors against Hewell.

There was also one game in Division Three as third place Arrow Valley travelled to fourth place Stoke Sporting Reserves with both sides coming away with a point following a 3-3 draw.
