MEADOW PARK have been crowned champions of the Worcester FA Sunday Junior Cup after securing a 3-0 victory over Broadway United.

Goals from Max Crisp, Craig Barnett and Sam Wright ensured Park walked away with silverware.

Rubery Athletic were dumped out of the semi-finals of the Evesham Hospital Cup after succumbing to a 3-1 defeat to Bretferton Old Boys.

Jack Berry got on the scoresheet for Athletic.




Northfield Athletic are the first team through to the final of the WA Harris Cup as they ran out 3-1 winners at Sporting Club Redditch thanks to goals from Paul Newman, Joshua Moore and Michael Teji.

Shaun Maynard replied for Redditch.


Meanwhile, Bromsgrove Corinthians secured victory in the Becky Price Cup after defeating Chairmans XI 6-0 thanks to hat-tricks from Tom Mason and Paul Medway.

In the Bromsgrove & District Premier Division, VBG Fairfield maintained their title push with a 4-0 victory over WCT Youth Raiders with all four goals coming from Richard Bishop.

In Division One, second place Bartley Green Illey Sunday notched up the biggest scoreline of the weekend with a 13-0 demolition of GLA.

Connor Collins (3), Dan Lawrence (3), Carl Martin (3), Dominic Strevens (2), Chris Hickey and Timothy Toon got on the scoresheet for Bartley Green.

Basement side AFC Northfield got their first win of the season at the 15th attempt after defeating Spa Athletic 5-1 courtesy of doubles from Ben Pickersgill and Ashan Thomas and a strike from Jamar Richards.

Stoke Sporting enjoyed a 4-1 victory over Conway Albion with goals from Peter Warman (2), Curtis Smith and Ben Johnson.

Meanwhile, the other game in the division saw Wychbold RBL and Chaddesley Corbett share the spoils in a 4-4 draw.

Division Two leaders Rednal Social Club slipped up in their bid for the title after they were held to a 5-5 draw by bottom club Bridgfield.

Luke Hancock (3) and Jordan Ward (2) netted for Bridgfield; Connor Wilson (2), Oliver Pugh, Ben Markall and Sam Brownhill for Rednal.

In a double header, Awkies Allstars drew 1-1 with Woodgate Valley before losing the second game 1-0.

Jason Gibbons netted Allstars’ only goal across the two matches.

Rubery Juniors enjoyed a 7-0 victory at Chaps United thanks to four goals from Nathan Derricks and one each from Lee Atkins, Connor Chipman and Ryan Khan.

Elsewhere, Hizza United secured a 5-2 victory away at LPR.

In Division Three, third place Chaddesley Corbett Reserves secured a 4-0 victory over Stoke Prior thanks to braces from Gary Moriaty and Ford MacKenzie.

Arrow Valley edged past FC Bromsgrove 3-2 courtesy of two goals from Robert Voice and one from Alan Beech.

Anthony Bate and James Robinson netted for Bromsgrove.

The other game in the division saw AFC Millfields defeat Laburnum 4-0 with goals from Ashley Roland (2), Chris Burford and Ryan Wood.

MIDWEEK ROUND-UP

WCT YOUTH Raiders walked away with the Bromsgrove Charity Cup after securing a 4-1 victory over Meadow Park.

Hizza United booked their place in the final of the Kidderminster Hospital Minor Cup after running out comfortable 9-1 winners at Wilden San Marino.

United will meet Vine FC in the final after Bromsgrove League’s Awkies Allstars lost 4-3 on penalties in the other semi-final after the game ended 0-0.

Bromsgrove League Division One leaders Northfield Athletic eased past Stoke Sporting 6-2 while Bartley Green Illey Sunday defeated Conway Albion 7-1.

Nick Conway got Albion’s only goal of the game.

Elsewhere, the sole Division Two game saw Rednal Social Club claim a comprehensive 8-2 victory at Chaps United.
