VBG FAIRFIELD walked away with the Worcester Nursing Junior Cup after claiming a 2-0 victory over The Gloster Arms.

Goals from Ryan Molesworth and Shaun May ensured Fairfield claimed silverware.

Sporting Club Redditch booked their place in the semi-finals of the WA Harris Cup with an 11-1 demolition of AFC Millfields.

Daniel Sill and Shaun Maynard bagged hat-tricks for Redditch with Joseph Shaw (2), Harry Sharpe (2) and James completing their scoring.




Northfield Athletic are also through to the semi-finals after running out comfortable 4-0 winners at Chaddesley Corbett thanks to two goals from Jason Cowley and one apiece for Joshua Moore and Jon Myrie.

Rednal Social Club progressed into the third round of the WA Harris Cup following their 3-1 victory over AFC Northfield courtesy of goals from Steven Cumberton, Sean Hunt and Ellis Lawson.


Bartley Green Illey Sunday eased into the semi-finals of the Evesham Hospital Junior Cup with a 6-2 victory over Cider Mill thanks to goals from Carl Martin (2), Colin Tandy, Dominic Strevens, Connor Collins and Ryan Gardiner.

Meanwhile, Rubery Athletic reached the third round of the Evesham Hospital Junior Cup after narrowly beating Evesham WMC 2-1.

Andrew Court and Lee Davies netted for Athletic.

Bromsgrove & District Premier Division leaders Thomas Brothers slumped to their first defeat of the season as a solitary goal from Alex Mallen ensured Belbroughton Athletic claimed an impressive victory.

WCT Youth Raiders moved up to third following their comprehensive 6-2 victory over second place Alcester Town with the goals coming from Richard Smith (2), Paul Smith, Thomas Hobbs, Joseph Haines, Richard Tomkins for Raiders; Ellis Kalach (2) for Town.

In Division One, Spa Athletic picked up their second win of the season after running out 4-0 winners at Stoke Sporting thanks to a hat-trick from Luke Rainbow and strike from Tom Harris.

Wychbold RBL moved into the top half of the table with a 4-1 victory at GLA courtesy of a Ciaran Sheehan double and efforts from Callum Goddard and Bradley Talbot.

Elsewhere, Conway Albion and Sporting Rednal shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw with Michael Connelly and Anton Gardner-Bennett netting for Rednal.

In Division Two, Hizza United enjoyed a 5-1 victory over Chaps United while Woodgate Valley secured a 1-0 victory over Rubery Juniors thanks to a solitary goal from Ben Fowler.

In Division Three, second-from-bottom Stoke Prior got their third win of the campaign after edging past Stoke Sporting Reserves 4-3 thanks to goals from Elliott Nottingham (2), Nelson Teixeira and Andrew Dawson.

Tom Nicholson netted all three of Sporting’s goals.

Meanwhile, the other game of the weekend saw Laburnum and Callowbrook Swifts Green play out a 1-1 draw.
