MORGAN Eagle and Thomas Revill both hit hat-tricks as Santiago U13 Allstars recorded a sensational 9-0 victory over Redditch Eagles.

Theo Powell marked his debut with a brace, while Harvey Woodman-Booth scored one of the best goals of the day as Redditch suffered a crushing Open Cup defeat.

Eagle and Revill may have netted three, but Harvey Thompson went one better for U13 Superstars as his four goals helped his side hammer Coldland Colts 8-1, with Luis Wetherell, Alistar Hunter and Josh Donaghey scoring the others.

There were also goals galore at U14 Girls as they beat Leafield 7-4 thanks to goals from Katie Wilson, Keron Mambonzo, Libby Stoodley, Rebecca Challinor, Sophie Preston, Toyah Spoor and an own goal.

Stewart Greenhalgh got the only goal as U14 Lions edged Callowbrook Swifts, while U12 Lions progressed to the last eight of the League Trophy with a convincing 3-1 win over Castle Castle. Harry Neal bagged a brace and a strike from McKenzie O’Sullivan sealed their passage to the next round.

U14 Sirens were held to a 1-1 draw by Kings Heath Sports, while U14 Knights were desperately unlucky to lose to top of the table Knowle Juniors who clinched a 2-1 victory.

But in the end Knights were among seven Santiago sides to suffer defeats, with U17 Girls suffering the heaviest loss as Halas Hawks ran out 7-1 winners.

U12 Crusaders were thumped 5-0 by Lyndon Colts, while U16 Colts went down 6-2 to Coleshill Utd. An injury to Ethan Welch at the start of the second half proved pivotal as they let slip a 2-1 half-time lead.

Elsewhere, U15 Colts’ five-match winning streak came to an end as they slumped to a 4-1 defeat to Sheldon Royal Eagles, while Joe Rushton and Ryan Kulas hit the back of the net for U18 Lickey, but it was Perrywood United who came out on top, winning 4-2.
