TWO BROMSGROVE cake makers are celebrating after winning gold awards at a prestigious international event.

Jo Duffin and Naomi Kings from Cake Magic, based in The Strand, scooped their accolades at Cake International, which was held at Birmingham’s NEC from November 6 to 8.

Jo, who owns the business, was given her top prize for her Gremlin cake and Naomi’s featured a ram’s skull.

Jo told The Standard: “There was a very good standard of cakes entered and we were very happy with the awards we received.

“We both put in a lot of hard work, so it was great to be recognised.”
