Youngsters invited to silent Bromsgrove disco

Bromsgrove Editorial 23rd May, 2014 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

YOUNG people can take part in Bromsgrove’s first ever silent disco at the town’s Ryland Centre on Wednesday (May 28).

The silent disco is the same as a regular one, apart from the fact there is no loud music – all party-goers listen to tunes through headphones.

Each person who goes has the option of listening to one of three channels and can choose their preferred DJ or genre of music.

The effect is mind-blowing with the young people sharing the same dance-floor, but listening to different beats.

Those who want a break from the music can simply put their headphones down and talk to others, not having to speak over loud music. It is billed as a truly unique experience and fascinating visually.

There will be two sessions on Wednesday – one for under 13s and families from 6pm to 7.30pm and the other – for 13 to 17-year-olds – between 8pm and 9.30pm.

Those wanting to go can just turn up and tickets are available on the door at £5 per session.

For more information, call the Ryland Centre on 01527 575387.
