YOUNGSTERS from Jellybabies Nursery based at Longbridge Methodist Church brought in donations of tinned food for the homeless when they took part in their annual harvest festival.

The service was given by Rev Mary Shannahan and enabled the children to find out about helping the needy through the story of The Little Red Hen and two harvest-themed action songs.

A spokesperson for Jellybabies said: “We feel it is important for children to learn about the needs of others and ways in which they can help.”
