YOUNGSTERS from Kirsty’s Little Treasures in Bromsgrove wore red, green and black and participated in a number of poppy related activities on Armistice Day on Wednesday (November 11).
The children, aged between two and five, were spoken to by older children about soldiers and learnt a little about wars.
A two-minute silence was held at 11am and the under twos did a two-minute clap along.
Kirsty Toolan, the owner of Kirsty’s Little Treasures, said: “We have been selling a range of poppies over the last few weeks, along with pin badges, hair clips, car poppies, wristbands, stickers, rulers and pencils and have been having lots of very kind donations.”
