MORE than 100 stroke survivors and elderly residents were entertained by talented South Birmingham youngsters at Shenley Court Hall in Northfield.

Jackey and Issy Young, Kia Gates, Alesi Summer took to the stage and Scott Cartwright kept it all together with his sound technician skills.

Among the songs performed were classics from musicals, the 1960s and hits from the present day.

The youngest was five and the oldest was 16.

Organiser Tony Maslen said: “There is so much young talent around and it was great to showcase it – the audience loved them, it made their day.”
