A WYTHALL salon will hold a special birthday party to celebrate its first anniversary and to raise funds for its chosen charity.
The Luxury Salon, 215 Station Road, has organised the event from midday to 4pm next Sunday (July 10) in aid of the Shirley Horse and Pony Rescue Centre which itself is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
The event will feature Buck’s fizz, sangria, wine and beer, gift bags for the first 25 guests and an appearance by Timmy the Shetland pony for children to take pictures with to raise money for the charity.
Since opening last July, the salon has gone from strength to strength and now has eight members of staff – beauty therapists Holly and Lisa, nail technician Charlotte, hair stylists Kate and Hannah, Mira, semi-permanent make up artist, and Anna and Darcy, salon assistants.
Owner Katie Homan said: “We would like to invite all of our fab clients and everyone in the community to join our celebration.”
