THE WORCESTERSHIRE Special Olympics Team has received a welcome funding boost of £2,000.
The cash was raised by the Rotary Club of North Worcestershire which raised the cash through a charity golf day in the summer.
The club provides all-year-round sports training and competitions of Olympic type events for children and adults with learning difficulties.
It gives participants the chance to develop their physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and participate in sharing skills and friendships.
The president of the Rotary Club of North Worcestershire Dave Foster paid the team a visit to present them with the funds.
