Business people sought to join Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership seeks those in the know

Bromsgrove Editorial 16th Feb, 2016 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

ENTHUSIASTIC and knowledgeable business people are being sought to join the Business Board of the Worcestershire LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership).

The board comprises 21 private sector representatives from varying business sizes and sectors as well as the main business representative organisations to share their knowledge and expertise.

The WLEP Business Board meets six times a year (or more frequently if needed) to address the big issues and solutions so business growth can be stimulated and jobs be created in the local economy.

Rather than a decision-making body, the board acts in an advisory capacity, informing and influencing decisions.

Those interested in the unpaid non-executive roles need to be available for one or two days a month and should send a current CV plus a covering letter highlighting their particular expertise and experience, together with a statement of your interests and potential contribution to [email protected] by March 4.

For more information, call the WLEP’s executive director Gary Woodman on 01905 672700.
