Warning to Bromsgrove shoppers after pair had their bank cards stolen

POLICE are warning residents to be careful while shopping after a couple had their bank cards stolen in Bromsgrove.

The pair were stopped by a group of foreign people as they returned to their car. The man distracted by one of the men in the gang while two foreign woman pushed a map towards the female.

During the incident their bank cards were stolen and used to withdraw cash from their accounts.

Police believe the two were followed by the group whilst they walked up the High Street and are now asking shoppers to be extra careful when withdrawing money from an ATM machine, to put their purse at the bottom of their bag and keep it closed.




They also advise people not to carry large amounts of cash on them and to never write down their pin.
