VOLUNTEERS are needed to help with a food collection on Wednesday (November 25).

The drive, which has been organised by NewStarts for the Bromsgrove Welcomes Refugees group, will take place at the town’s ASDA from 10am to 6pm.

The group is collecting a variety of items, including food items which have a long shelf life, such as tins of beans and soup, tea, coffee, sugar, longlife milk, pasta, cook-in sauces, packet sauces, biscuits, crisps and rice.

They are also appealing for people to donate toiletries, such as shampoo, shower gel and toothpaste.
