Vibrant host of activities round off penultimate week of the Bromsgrove Festival

THERE will be a host of activities and attractions in the penultimate week of the Bromsgrove Festival.

A barn dance with live band Five Minutes to Midnight will take place at Bromsgrove Cricket Club tonight (Friday).

Tickets are £6 for adults, £4 for children and £18 for a family ticket.

There will be family fun on Bromsgrove High Street tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am to 4pm, featuring walkabout acts, pop-up performances and have a go art.

The Snow Queen by Storybox Theatre will take centre stage at Artrix at 2pm on Sunday (July 17).

There will be a celebration of English Song at Tardebigge Church on Sunday (July 17) at 3pm. Music from Frank Bridge, Ian Venables and Finzi will be performed by Susan Bickley (mezzo) Louise Williams (viola) and Iain Burnside (piano). A pre-concert talk at 2pm will be given by Alan Watson on the science of the singing voice.

The Birmingham Horn Sound will be the final Festive Classics lunchtime concert at The New Guesten Hall, Avoncroft Museum, at 1pm on Monday
