STAFF at The Vernon Arms in Hanbury are celebrating after the venue was awarded the prestigious AA Rosette for the third year in a row.
The accolade recognises ‘outstanding culinary achievement’ in the industry and everyone at The Vernon is delighted it has been recognised again.
General manager Richard Hill said: “The team in the kitchen always strive to make sure all our hotel guest and restaurant patrons have the best possible experience at The Vernon.
“We are very proud to receive this award, as it shows our commitment to serving the best possible local quality food.”
He added many people mainly thought of The Vernon Arms as a venue for fine dining, but he said, there was more to it than that and it also offered quality reasonably priced bar food and sandwiches as well.
“We want local people to come and use the venue regularly – it is not just for special occasions.” he said.
