Vehicle stolen in car key burglary was recovered in Rubery after police chase

A VEHICLE reported stolen in a car key burglary in Alvechurch was recovered after a short pursuit by officers who spotted it still in Bromsgrove district.

The incident happened just after midnight on Wednesday (March 24) when the BMW Z4 was taken from The Becks after burglars obtained the keys.

The vehicle, recovered in Rubery, has now been sent to a secure compound for further forensic investigation and the driver was arrested at the scene.

Officers from West Mercia Police still want any witnesses to the incident or anyone with any information on it to call them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
