POLICE are hunting vandals who damaged fencing in Top Road, Wildmoor, leading to several horses escaping and wandering loose near Junction 4 of the M5.

The incident happened overnight between Saturday (September 26) and Sunday (September 27).

The owner of the horses noticed the next morning after she was tagged on Facebook in a post about the escaped horses.

She immediately headed down to the field where she kept her animals and found they were no longer there.

Luckily they were with police, having being put in another field a few miles away.

It was then she discovered the perimeter fencing had been cut.
