POLICE, fire and ambulance crews are currently dealing with a crash in Bromsgrove, involving a car and a van.

The blue Peugeot van collided with the a grey Ford Mondeo and ended up on its side.

One man was helped from the van by firefighters and, with one ambulance on the scene,  he is currently being attended to by paramedics.

Bromsgrove Police are also in attendance following the incident.

Two fire crews were sent to the scene, but when it was discovered only one was needed, the other was stood down.

That crew then came across a car on fire further up New Road, near the junction of the A38.

The blaze, which was extinguished by firefighters, had broken out in the car’s engine compartment.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101.
