THREE men were injured in a two-car crash in Northfield at 9.15am this morning.

The incident happened just before 9.15am in Frankley Beeches Road.

West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed three ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.

A man in his 60s and a man in his 20s, who were both in the same car, were treated for back injuries.

They were both immobilised with the use of a neck collar and spinal board before being taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The driver of the second car – a man in his 50s – also sustained back injuries and was taken to the QE for further assessment and treatment.
